I've always liked the G35 coupe's looks. Never really cared for the interior or the ride though. Driven two of them and I'd much rather go with the GS, unless you're looking for a sportier car, then by all means go for it. But if you have a family I'd suggest you keep the larger GS. Both cars are nice though so you can't really go wrong either way you go.

I have around 4-5 colleagues at work that own 35's.
Everytime I ride in one - I am SO GLAD I bought the GS400.
The interior is cheap, the ride is not much better than any old Nissan, and
It's a 6cyl. I don't care about how much power it makes at the top end - WHY GO FROM AN 8 TO A 6?????
Plus, it's WAY overpriced for nothing but good looks. Buy a newer GS and remain happy in your driving.

well it all depends on your preference. do you want a sports couple with a killer engine and harsh ride or a luxury sports sedan that isn't as sporty but sides more on the cruising side.
it also depends on whether the GS is your daily. need more info on the details.
of course when you ask open ended questions on CL, your gonna get biases favoring the Lex.
