Smile I finally lowered my car!

I finally did it, it took some time to do, but it fells good to say I did it myself and I saved $300 for the install. I am running Apex World Sport, I am very happy with the handling.

Your car looks really good. How much of a drop did you go?

It's looking good! Please give a review on the APEXi WS system. I'm sure other ClubLexus members want to know...how's the ride quality, how much more lowering can set them (how much threading is left on the body), how do you feel about the build quality, any "weird" noises, etc., etc...

So when you gonna do some wheels?

Excellent job, and congrats on the DIY! I'm with manaray on the questions... especially since I haven't decided on a suspension yet Also, if you get an Apexi WS exhaust, could be well on your way to an all Apexi car hehehe

Thanks for the feedback, I am very happy with the kit, it is difficult for me to compare with ride quality cause, I haven't riden in any other lowered GS.

Ride: I feel most of the imperfections on the road, but not that bad, I have driven a Porsche and it feels about the same (NOT ON CARVING THE ROAD) on the road feel only.

Height: I tried to set it up do drop about 1.7 inch front and 1.5 back, but I think it went about 2.0 front 1.6 back. It can be dropped more, say another inch if you really want to, but Apex doesn't recommend it, and it can still be raised 1 to 1.5 inch.

Sound: No noises at all, it still Lexus like

Quality: Apex kit is solid! Those things weigh a TON, I could barely lift the box, they weigh alot more than stock. The instructions was in English which was a plus!

Difficulty: 1 to 10, 10 being difficult. I would say 8, I had no powertools and it being the first time. If I had to do it again, it's not going to be that bad, cause I know where to begin. Front can be done by one person, but the rear, will need 2 people.

No marking, I just measured it from the base of the shock to bottom of the spring adjuster, it's all noted on the instructions, with recommended heights for street use and track use.
