Question Paint Job Cost??

Depends on how it gets painted. If they only mask the car and shoot it, can start at $800 (outside only, not engine bay or door jams) if they do it RIGHT and pull every body part off engine bay door jams trunk jams every nook and cranny... $6000 then obviously depends on what type of paint how many stages etc. but those prices are for regular jobs. I think in general it will round off at about $3500. BUT DO A LOT OF RESEARCH!!! I got screwed! Payed a grip, had it painted 4 times and now am about to have a law suit...

i just had mine done , and actually just took it out about four days ago, i changed my color tho, so we did have to do all the jams and all that good stuff, plus i had a lot of body work that need to be done. the paint was mixed around and added some pearl to it, did black roof and all, the shop owner is a buddy of mine so things here and there he hooked me up with but at the end of the day it ran me 3400 even

I just did mine, its still in the shop getting the pumper, and door panels etc all put back on, there was nothing wrong with my car I just wanted a better looking clear coat wanted that Black Piano look, it ran me $3900 they sanded down the whole car and fixed couple of dings here and there now the car looks like glass but the shop did a great job, ill post pictures soon..

i paid $2800 for a complete paint job earlier this year on my SC300..
I would say on average though you should look to spend around 3-5k
if you want a complete factory looking paint job.
sometimes you can get lucky though and find a hook up or something, but most of the time if they are too cheap something probably aint right.

i called macco and they said anywhere from $200-1500 I knw it may sound cheesy and thy have a bad name but i seen anothr guy tht had his done there and it was clean. it looked really nice

A paint job is one of the thing you don't cheap out on, you get what you pay for. The cheaper it is means that they will use the cheapest materials for the job or even worse they won't prep the car right.
A paint job done right in TX will run you from $2500 - $5000. Pricing will depend on how much body work is needed, or if it is a color change.
