Installed a Pair of PIAA XTREME!!!
Well I set out today to initially buy a pair of PIAA XTREME 9006 to place in my recently purchased clear fog lenses (time for a change, and NO I won't be selling my yellow ones ) and ended up buying the 9006 and 9005 XTREME for the high-beams!!! I've just installed em' about 30 min. ago. I'll post up my review as soon as can see them driving at night. However, I did close my garage and did a comparison with the factory Sylvania & PIAA XTREME high-beam installed and the PIAA appeared to be 'significantly' brighter than stock! I shall have my clear fogs with the PIAA's installed by next week. Just in time for our DALLAS Meet.
On a side note: I installed a set of "halogen" wedge bulbs for my 'park' lights (they are definitely brighter than the factory wedges!) and I personally like the "look" of the off-white color 'parks' sitting inside the HID's at night! It really sets the Xenons off IMO! As oppossed to going with a polarg or other blueish wedge bulb. And once I install the clear fogs with the PIAA XTREME's, it will definitely look kick-a**! And I also have the halogens in my side-markers (much brighter than stock) and I will use those with my clears do in any day. My never-ending quest for the "cleanest & sweetest" GS in Dallas!!!

Also guys, it is my understanding (several different people who have tried various lighting installs) that these 7000k bulbs (and basically anything over 5000k) are actually less bright than our factory xenons! They might be more blue & purple, but the output on the road (which is more important to me ) is less!

BTW, the Lexus OEM Sylvannia halogens are the cheapo Sylvannias. The Sylvannia SilverStar is just as bright and white as PIAA's Xtreme White Plus and they last a little longer. PIAA = $110, Silverstar = $50 at Kragen. I've done a side by side comparison of both. I of course returned the PIAAs when I was done.

That's what I been trying to tell everybody! Not only that, but they also produce more glare than an identical 4200K bulb even when properly installed, aimed, and calibrated. Oh well, everyone has their own priorities...

TX,
I've tried the SS in my yellows, and I didn't see much improvement, but in the clears, their improvement over stocks might be more readily apparent.

I went with the SilverStars!!!
Well, I took those 'non-HID' looking PIAA's back! And picked up what was my first plan: Sylvania Silverstar! I trust their quality and reputation, and they are considerably less! And anyway, they are going in my fogs. I'm gonna hold off on the high-beams........ I'll post some pics up next week when their installed with my clears fogs.

TXSTYLE, I don't have any comparison pics, sorry. It was kind of an off-the-wall idea to go buy some PIAAs on my lunch break and compare them. I returned them like two hours later before I even thought about taking pics.
What you can do is just buy a pair of Silver Stars at a local shop. Osram-Sylvannia is a very widely distributed bulb so you shouldn't have any problems finding one. You can do the comparison yourself and decide, which you want to keep. Try Kragen Auto if you have them in Texas. I mean it's a difference of $50 or so, so no big deal either way. Silver Stars aren't like ten times better or anything. They are just the same color and brightness as the PIAA for less than half the price, which is why I see them as my clear choice.
