Default 2000 GS300 and Denso Iridium IK16 Gap

Man oh man, conflict!!

Stealership tells me not to use these but to use Denso Platinums with a .43-.51 recommended gap.

I already installed my denso iridium IK16's and they were pre-gapped to .044"

I read on sparkplugs.com where the OE gap should be .035" so I ended up gapping them to .035.

Now, I am doing the research after the fact whether or not I gapped them to the wrong spec.

Only thing I notice is a slightly higher rpm at startup. other than that car is fine.
What should I do? keep them at .035" or back to out of the box .044".

I really don't want to take the plugs out again to re-gap...

It comes down to preference but NGK are known to concentrate more on performance.

To OP I would regap them to OEM spec. These plugs come pregap to factory standard for a reason.
