Having found out the flashing SRS light means an issue with the seatbelt,is there any way I can look further into it and fix it?

I have a loose clip on the driver's side seat,could it be that?

how do i initiate a DTC check?

Easiest is to go to an auto parts store to have your codes read with a scanner. Do you have a CEL? Do you have a ODBII reader? Otherwise I think you would have to jump terminals and see how many times your SRS light blinks within a certain time frame.

nope no CEL code,i think i'll join the wires together for SRS and see what happens from there
