sanding down wouldnt be too hard. I used a wire brush and it got like half of the oem black stuff off. the hard part is sanding where the tip extends out. hard to get into the crevices and junk
Yea, I thought of using a wire brush. But then [just now] thought of using a dremel tool or an air angle grinder either with a wire brush attachment on it. That would not only make it quicker to do, but probably help get in those small crevices you speak of and any hard grime the doesnt want to come off. cool deal
The tips look good, but it seems a bit too angled. Maybe if you cut it down to 30* it would look more like the jp style tips. Either way the stock mufflers and tips look great.
car come out good. what you should have done was WHEN they had the exhaust off, cleaned them up, painted them and then replaced them. looks good though
