To spoiler or not to spoiler...?
Been thinking about getting a factory spoiler for my G4.
But I'm on the fence....some days I want to go ahead and others I have 2nd thoughts.
I know it is for all intents and purposes just a visual rather than a performance upgrade, as I don't intend to ever go 120+ to where it would actually start to work aerodynamically...
But I don't want to do it and then regret having done so.....
What's the CL concenses ???

its Probably 50/50
My guess is that this is 50/50...I think someone did a poll once...try a search for it. You'll find a lot of arguments for and against. If you do get one just make sure you get either the true OEM and not some knock-off OEM style one that doesn't fit properly (ie. SprtWing). I have an RMM rear and while it is OEM style, it is not considered a "knock-off". The RMM IMHO is actually nicer in some respects because the wing has a little bit more width to it than stock and a little lip at the end, also the leading edge of the sides flow forward more toward the rear qtrs/C-pillars, they are subtle differences but side by side the RMM looked better so I went with it instead.
edit: Oh, yeah don't forget about considering the whole 3rd brakelight issue as well...many many threads on that here too.

Thx JM. I have been wondering what the h*ll I need two "3rd" brake lites for... and since the interior one is built right into the rear deck...I dunno...
I'll do a search see what's up......

GS Spoiler
I have a 2001 GS430 and I made sure when I got it, it had the factoy spoiler. I don't like the aftermarket ones, they don't fit the car that well. Your better off getting the oem spoiler directly from Lexus, it fits perfectly and personally I think it looks the cleanest.

Re: To spoiler or not to spoiler...?
I have the same question.... I have no clue as to what spoiler I want for my GS.. I do not want that 3rd brake IMO looks really tacky.. I was thinking about going with the Blitz spoiler, but I am not going to put a bodykit on my car, so I don't know if that would look good or not. And I don't want a 3 piece wing. So I am stuck... Maybe I'll go look at the RMM Spoiler. Does it have a brake light in it??? What do you think?????? Thanks...

Go with a spoiler! Some lovered cars do look great without one but generaly all GSs ,including mine, have a great big *** look from behind with a spoiler. Gs loks fatter and bigger

If your car is white, I would consider trading with you. I also agree that the GS needs a spoiler to make the back not look so bulky and heavy. I like this spoiler here
