Default Has anyone done the VERTEX front end conversion yet...

Hello all,
i have had my gs for about 5 years now... with other cars along the way but still kept my GS. I recently saw that VERTEX makes a kit to convert the front end of a 2genGS to a 3genGS. Cost is about 5k to 6K. what are your thoughts on this?? My Gs has been paid off for a while now so instead of trading for a 3rd gen GS that will cost 25k or more. why not convert the front end cause i love the look of the new Gs...

^Yeah, Panda has already done it, and someone in Hawaii has done it as well. I like the way you think. Rather than spend money to move to a stock 3rd Gen GS, make your current one, which is paid off, stand out with some rare upgrades.

IMO...I would rather keep the cash and do something with the 2nd GS rather than converted..If you want the 3rd Gen GS..Why not use the 5k to down payment on it....that's my .02...

It was on the Speed Channel. They were covering the HIN show series, and they did a little spot on a show club in Hawaii participating at the show, and BAM, there it was. It was sick, but they didn't even play it up that big. Little did they know how sick of a conversion it was. I was so surprised since I only knew of Panda that did the conversion at the time.

Wonder why this owner doesn't have more pics online, when I purchased mine I heard he/she got his/hers as well but that was the end of it. I know this kit is not for everyone, but its something different. And now that I've seen these pics its time for me to step up my game a little further... lol

ill leave you guys with the red HKS conversion...
