Default Holy flickering foglights Batman!!!

Anyone having issues with their fog lights flickering? When I turn the fogs on, the turn on sometimes and sometimes they don't. They flicker when I adjust the control stalk so I'm thinking loose wire? Or is it the relay? I'm no electrician and not comfortable messing with the electronics. Any suggestions?

Do you have stock foglights or an HID kit in them? If its stock, probably a loose wire or bad ground. If HID, it could be your ballast.

Stock fog. So I should remove the steering column cover and star from there?

Switch is known to go bad from time to time. You would need to replace the ull stalk, about $90 from Sewell.

I hear a rapid clicking sound from where the relay would be like an actuator. Sounds like my greddy Profec B2 in my mazdaspeed3. Would that mean a bad relay? The lights flicker with the sound. Now the fogs don't even come on.

No I've had the same thing attempt to press the stalk in towards the passenger side to see if it stops, if it does it means that there is a bad contact within the switch.

I pushed the stalk away from the driver and the flickering stops and sometimes the fog would come on. It sounds like th same issue. Where is the switch and how do I fix this. New stalk?

Yea new stalk part number is 84140-50090 an price is $67.69 after CL discount from Sewell.

Switch labeled 8140 in above diagram.

If you input the part number into Pembrook Pines it is 63.65 for the switch
