Default Engine Bay MODS

Has anyone here gone crazy under the hood....I've personally made a few changes recently and would like to get additional ideas....I have not taken pictures of my engine bay yet but hopefully will soon....

I have painted the engine cover, ECU cover and one more cover the color of my car.

I have added a SRT intake (Chromed first however)

I have added a TRD strut bar (Chromed first too)

Added a TRD oil cap...

Currently working to get:
Optima Yellow Top and nice fuse holder for 4 gauge power wire to amp
TRD radiator cap
Heat shield for SRT intake (chrome)

Please post pics if you have them.

Thanks,

Peace

HI98GS,
I see the second piece is a cold box...what is the first....just a painted air intake...does it go by itself...I mean can I just install it by itself with my SRT intake?

Does it come only one color?
Where do I get it?
How much does it cost?

Dude, you got me all exited...
Thanks for the help,

Enginyr,

Looks nice. I do have a few pics that will give you a few ideas dude and will make you do a few things...

If we combined my engine MODS with yours, that would just be incredible.

Give me a chance to take a few pics....I know you'll love it.

I got to build me one of those cold air boxes...real cool.

Get that CAB lid chromed dude. I think it would look sweet....(maybe I'm just too obsessed with chrome)...

Default Mumbles gets the credit!

A really nice engine bay mod I've seen done by another GS owner (Mumbles/Eric) is to polish the manifold (I guess that's what its part of) that shows through the engine cover. You know, the silver tubes that are in the center...

From the factory, they're covered with a heavily-textured silver material. Mumbles put a LOT of elbow grease into polishing his up and they look really great. I haven't seen anyone else who has done this yet.

Here's a pic I took at the meet-before-last in Atlanta at the dragway of his engine bay and the mod.
