Hey guys I need to find out asap if its possible to fit a 20 inch rim in the rear with a 5 inch lip but I want the wheel to sit straight up so I won't have that tire problem where just the insides of the tires are being worn and quick I know imma have to flare my fenders but can I fit a 5 inch lip? Need to know asap ordering my rims tomorrow morning let me know guys thanks! Jesse

theres some companys that have their wheels with massive lip while still having very high offsets. check the offset of them. plus it also depends on how low you are

yes you can. I have 20x8.5 with 3" lip and 20x10 with BBK with 4.5 lip.But I original order 20x9 with 3.5 lip.20x10.5 that will give me a 5" lip. I waited over a month for the lips.but they took so long to get them.so I got the 4.5 lip instead.

I have the tein cs coilovers on and want my fenders to sit right on top of the tire maybe a finger or two gap

with a 5" lip in the rear, you're obviously going to want a 10" rim, which I would imagine (depending on the wheel) you'd need a 0 offset (that is, mounting surface directly centered over the barrel's midline).

as said before, companies play with offsets and lip width to make certain wheels fit certain cars.

on CS it can be done with a little wheel gap. Fact is, any amount you lower the car will camber the wheels a bit.


get the specs in this format and we can tell you:

It all depends on the wheel design and offset I have 22s with a 7.5 inch lip in the rear with a +37 on a 9.5 inch wheel but the face of my wheel wraps around my hub and brakes, dramatically to acheive this.The inner barrel is only 2 inches wide. To acheive this with a flat faced wheel you may have to stretch tires and do fender mods
