is a 20 inch rim with a 5 inch lip possible for the rear?
Hey guys I need to find out asap if its possible to fit a 20 inch rim in the rear with a 5 inch lip but I want the wheel to sit straight up so I won't have that tire problem where just the insides of the tires are being worn and quick I know imma have to flare my fenders but can I fit a 5 inch lip? Need to know asap ordering my rims tomorrow morning let me know guys thanks! Jesse

with a 5" lip in the rear, you're obviously going to want a 10" rim, which I would imagine (depending on the wheel) you'd need a 0 offset (that is, mounting surface directly centered over the barrel's midline).
as said before, companies play with offsets and lip width to make certain wheels fit certain cars.
on CS it can be done with a little wheel gap. Fact is, any amount you lower the car will camber the wheels a bit.
get the specs in this format and we can tell you:
DDxWW.W et OO (where d=diameter, w=width, o=offset)
we can then tell you if they will fit or not. we can also recommend the proper tire size to achieve your goal.

It all depends on the wheel design and offset I have 22s with a 7.5 inch lip in the rear with a +37 on a 9.5 inch wheel but the face of my wheel wraps around my hub and brakes, dramatically to acheive this.The inner barrel is only 2 inches wide. To acheive this with a flat faced wheel you may have to stretch tires and do fender mods
