all depends on the tire most shops say 32-36 I say screw them and follow what the tire recomends its on the tire it says MAX PSI most call for 50psi so 45-50psi

^^ do not pump max tire press of the tire. that is stupid.
32psi is good for most cars. look at the drivers door jam and it will call for 30psi stock.
is the tire stretched? if it is, run like 10psi more than normal.
but 32 provides comfort and enough air pressure to get good mileage.

I would run 40 psi. 34 psi is for stock tires

NEVER inflate at load max..

are your tires overloaded? if so run around 40-41 psi (if you want). if not 35-37 should be "safe" (if you want)

when i worked at the tire shop, we usually set it to 36, unless specified.

for most suv/trucks, the tire pressure is a tad lower around 30-32 from what i remember, but passenger cars, 34-36 is good.

FYI if you inflate at max psi and it gets warmer due to weather/driving for one thing the ride quality will be worse but also u can damage the tire. 30-36 is fine, for best mpg do 36, best ride/handling do 30, im at about 33
