New Tires Installed - Lowered Car More - Pics
Hey guys, i had a really good experiance with this new tire place! We went in last week to order our tires (bridgestone RE730) and went today to get them installed. First of all i asked if i could adjust my suspension while i was in the shop because it was on a hoist, for sure expecting a no. But they said yes! so that was great and i was really happy about that. I brought my digi-cam so i have some pics of the coil-overs. I will take more pictures next time.
What happened was the guys were changing the tires off the wheels while i was lowering, i lowered the front about .75" more and it really looks better now, there is just a little less wheel gap in front than in the back - perfect. Only problem is since the GS was designed to have more front gap then rear gap, now my car is leaning slightly forward (hey more oversteer!) thats ok though. I'll probobly end up lowering the rear a bit more to counter for this.
They balanced the tires very well and we are going in for alignment next wednesday. At first i was gonna go somewhere else, but they have laser alignment front and rear so i'll stik with these guys! I like them so much, im getting a co-op placement with them next year!!
Here are some pictures of my tires and my car after lowering. I will be writing a how-to for adjusting coilovers height and stiffness soon.

The only bad thing about the RE730s is price...I am doing SO3s very soon.

thanks guys... i really like how these tires look compared to my old ones... the sidewalls that is.. they are round like a nascar tire but dont buldge out too much.... although i much prefer a 305/35/19
ya a steam clean would be a GOOD idea!!! i'll try and find somewhere to do that!!!
clicks im guessing u mean stiffness... right now i dont remember i think im on 8/7
