Make sure you get nice LED lights... Some light up with an ugly square pattern, or dont even light up when you brake... Me, I stick with the oem 01-05 tails. Looks better in pattern although led 01-05 ones would be cool

Yup, LED's for the win!!! and as EN_VY said and is VERY important, do not get the cheap looking squared off LED's they are VERY ugly!!! I too had the debate, settled on LED's and took a while before I found a good set which are the Insurance tails. I believe I saw a set of LED's on Ebay that actually have a very close look to stock with the same shape, however dont know how bright they are.

Junction Produce has to do their lazer grafting of the stocks and make them LED's (probably sell them for like $2500 though )

Thanks everyone for the input. I had LEDs and loved the way they looked, but the lamps started blowing fuses. What do the insurance tails look like and do they come with inners and resistors. Here is the ones I purchased fro JZS international, Japan on ebay.

These are the insurance ones. You blew the led's on these? How long you have them on before they blew? I've had mine on for a minuet and havent had any problems and the black gel boxes that come with them act as the resistors.

Really,

I purchased them a year ago, and installed them this month when I put my kit on, drove around about a week and realized that I didn't have tail-lamps just brake lights. Replaced the fuse for the tails and switched the resistors from one side to the other which seem to work until I blew the stop fuse. The stop fuse prevented me from getting my car out of park(scary lol).
Mr. Jokster did your dash light come on? mine did.
Here is another pic compared with stock:

I looked at that also, but in person the inners was the same on both sides, so if figured it was supposed to look like that.

Mr. Jokster,

I didn't blow the LEDs. The LEDs blew two fuses that was located on the driver-side foot well.
