Would it be silly to re-purchase these lamps? I have the money for the JPs; but have a very hard time justifying the purchase.

hold on, you said you moved the resistors from one side to the other? what did you mean by that? Not from one wire to the other right? cause one end goes to each side. Either way, I dont see why you needed them. I didnt get the light... at least I dont think I did, I have to check cause now that I think of it, I put a led third brake light on at the same time and have always thought that was what triggered it. I'm pretty sure that it is cause the light only comes on when I hit the brake.

I moved the resistor that I had on the passenger side tail lamp to the driver side and vice versa.

y of course...but pics dont show justice. v-leds bulbs are VERY bright. Just look at my interior

i copied all bulbs from this thread and then added brighter ones to my taste. oh and the 2001+ use a different reverse bulb

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lig...-pictures.html

THIS IS WITHOUT THE INNER BULB INSTALLED

(the inner uses a star shaped bulb)

Man if I could find the thread of them I would show it.... Theres a set of LED tails on ebay with lenses that have the same look as the factory lenses and he just swapped them. again, flawless... I'll look for them just a bit, but the chances of finding them is slim to none.
