Toyboy - my guards are rolled about 1/2 the size both front and rear. i had to get a shop to do it for me. if you roll them too much especially in the rear they WILL 'dimple' on the fender. it is easier to shave them down if you can legally do that over there. But if you get a good shop to do it, they will be able to roll enough to get them to fit cause that is what i had done.
as for rubbing, yes, my front tyres do rub up driveways at full lock. But it doesnt do any damage and it doesnt flip the guard lip out. But the only reason it rubs is because of my ride height, and also because i have 235/35 tyres. if i went down to 225/35 i would clear fine, but i went chunkier tyres so protect my rims since i dialy drive my car over train tracks etc :P
i'd say hop on those wheels, it really is not hard work to be done to get them on. And if you ride higher you will likely have no issues up front
