Thinking About trading my GS for a IS!
I was thinking about parting my GS300 for an IS300.......due to the fact i found a IS for 12K with a dead motor. So i was thinking i could sell my GS and get some extra cash back and put a Supra Twin Turbo Engine for an extra 15K..........Is this a good deal or wassup! Plz some info on this will hep

personally, i would keep the GS, try to get a loan(if you need to), buy the IS, and slowly build it up from there.....though i have no idea how much $$$ and time would be involved...just an idea

It's like dating Cindy Crawford one day, breaking up with her and then dating Reese Witherspoon and buying her a boob and nose job.
Why not give Cindy the boob and nose job over time instead??? hahahah
In all seriousness, it'll be fun to have a play car but a second hand IS over a first hand GS would be tough. Plus, putting a new motor in there and making it fast doesn't make it a Supra still. It's still "just" an IS. (no knock on the IS owners out there - it's a great car and my bro has one) it's just that 50K on an IS is a lot of money

Thanks for the info.............I'm still thinking about it and i was thinking it is pretty cheap but most of you guys say that is expensive plus that guy will include the six speed tranny for me also. But I am not sure i love the GS it is a great car so you know i'm not sure. I like the GS430 but it is really expensive.

Within the past few days i ve seena hell of a lot of iss and i really like the styling and all but ihate the engine... i think a 250 hp is i6 and a 300hp v8 would be a good seller for LEX, and keep the v8 under forty and the i6 at like 31. but thats never gonna happen, right?
