Default Battery Drainage

The last two weeks,if i don't use my car within 24hours my battery dies?

The way my headunit is wired up,i've spliced into the permanent live feed to my hands free kit for my ISO wiring, joining the ignition live to permanent live to this constant live wire.

Is this the sole problem to my battery issues?
It's a year old battery, with a year left on warranty on it still.

The battery doesn't like to hold charge, even after leaving the battery connected to another car, couldn't even fire the starter motor after nearly 10minutes!!

The battery died 2 weekends back, and is struggling to keep charge since.

Any tips on what else it could be,or if it really is a duff battery? Don't like driving my mum's Civic everywhere and leaving the GS at home

If the battery doesn't hold a charge I would recommend replacing it. If it is really bad, it's going to casue the alternator to crap out too.

I would say it's most likely the battery, it doesn't charge anymore... it's possible you can mess up the alternator if you keep starting it also, agree with newgsman. and a chance of the starter if you keep starting it over and over and it doesn't turn over. =/

well,i took the battry out of the car, charged it,and left it alone for a day, wnet back to it a day later and it was still 100% fully charged,so going to re-wire headunit wiring and see where that takes me

the car takes a tiny bit longer turning over to fire up when not driven for 6+ hours
