Default Foglight MOD Relay, DIY?

I would like to have the option to run my existing HID fogs without my lowbeams.

Took a look at the DIY on how to do it and how to make the relay. Problem is I am challenged in creating wiring harnesses.

Is there anyone out there who would make one for me, for a fee of course..

thanks

I just took mine off last weekend...I need to find something that I can tap into the fuse better.

it's really not that hard.

I don't think the work to install is hard at all. Knowing my background with making relay harnesses and failing on radio installs I gave up on that stuff long ago. GSteg, your the man!

do you have to put the pin back in the steering wheel switch after you tap into it or do you leave it out? the pic in the DIY doesn't say to put the tapped pin back in the plug...

im probably the last person that should be wiring up anything. but you just tap into like 2-3 lines, take out the factory relay, and tap more wires on there.

It may be your actual switch then. I know another CL member here who has problems with their switch. It's either on or off.

If you want to check to make sure it's not the wiring itself, take the wire that goes to the switch and ground it somewhere. The light should stay on (car on of course). Actually that's how I wired it up for Crispy since his switch broke.

that's actually the first thought that came to mind when i noticed the problem since i remember looking at that post. i put my stock halogens back in and i noticed that the problem only occurs when i have both HIDs in plugged in. it's strange can't really see what it issue is, perhaps different fuse? anyone have any ideas?

How do you have your ballast connected to the car? Do you have a separate relay or are you running off the OEM power wires?

It actually broke on the old GS. The new GS you grounded the wire so I never even touch the switch. My fogs are my DRL. Do you think I'll run into problems if I run an HID kit?
