Thanks for sacrificing A/C, heater, and sound for the next couple months Evan! Can't wait to see what they come up with!

Still missing a radio though.

lol neme you need to get a stock radio from one of the members because you will go crazy after a while without the radio.

but what navi did you ship out?

the 01+?

I sure hope so
IF they use the 98-00 setup, then need to utilize the WHOLE screen...

in those 98-00 navi's a large chunk was cut off on the left side and right side of the screen

HEY one more thing, WILL THE MPG be included in this!!?!?!?!

I been wanting to ask this from DAY ONE!!
if they could have a TPMS sensor, I think they should have some sorta MPG reader like the OEM navi's

PLEASE if they can make that a possibility, I would be all over it.
I know its not that important to some others but to me I would LOVE that feature.
That is one reason I was THIS close to getting an LS400

Haha yeah, I definitely need to find a replacement radio.

I don't have navigation. I sent out a 2002 factory tape deck and climate control.

And from what I can tell, their setup will definitely utilize the whole entire screen. It should be slightly larger than the OEM nav screen I believe.

You'll have to Ask Mat or Edward about the MPG sensors.. I'm sure they could expand capability in a software update.

Any idea if this HU will have audio multiplexing so we can retain our OEM AMP?

If so, count me in!!!

Im really interested as revamping the audio/nav setup is on my to do this spring. Obviously price is very important.

Things that come to mind are...

OE CD Changer/Amp compatability
F the tape
Front aux jack would be nice
Retaining trip computer a plus, dont really care about TPMS

Im curious about support and longevity of the product, with aftermarket systems we know the brands, this seems like a smaller company and thats a major concern for me with a high price tag.

Keep us updated.

The only update I have is that they have received my stuff at the China RnD facility, so they're working on it!!

the OE changer will work, dunno about the amp.
I dont think they keep the tape player.

I agree a front AUX in would be fantastic.

Hey Automax. I have a suggestion which may already be incorporated but it would be nice if the ipod hookup is iPhone compatible. I'm not even sure if it makes a difference but since the iphone has been so popular it would be ideal for the head unit to support it. Thats all

Thanks for the suggestion, but the system is already capable of this. The iPhone plugs into the same jack that an iPod plugs into and the Fly Audio system treats it just like an iPod. I will have to test to see if the bluetooth still works when it's being used as an iPod, but I don't know why it wouldn't.

If you guys have any other suggestions, Emailing Fly Audio is the best way to get your voices heard. Evan spoke up about getting this system made for the 2GS and they are developing it now. I am happy to pass along all ideas, but at the end of the day, the more demand they anticipate, the more likely they are going to incorporate new ideas.

Happy New Year everyone!
