I've never heard of those but just looking at them and reasons described by DEBONAIR, I would not use them. If cost is a concern for you, then go with a spring/strut combo and check the classifieds on here as another member suggested for a lower price. Good luck!

I agree with the crowd. Stay away from those clamps and save up from a nice spring and strut combo.
