I have a question about these two cars. I know the GS3 has a 225hp V6 and the GS4 has a 300hp V8 but what else is diffrent between these two cars? Im about to go see a GS300 this weekend i am planing on getting because i couldn't find a good deal on a GS400. Can you guys help?

the gs300 have an i6 ,all gs400's have e shift only 2001-2006 gs300 have it, gs400 often have navigation and upgraded stereo and a few more options, and most 400's you will find have the spoiler, even though i dont like.

The GS Series has few problems as it ages. The earlier years (98/99) have more quirks then the later years, but both have been known to have:

Moisture in Healights
Low/rough Idle Issue
Door Actuator Problems
Dash Rattle
Sunroof Rattle
Vibration at Highway Speed in wheels
Wheel bearings
90k timing belt service needed
