Default Mudflaps/Splashguards

Hey new here guys. Searched but couldn't fine what I was look for so quick question for you:

Thoughts on mudflaps?

I have a 1999 GS300. I'm thinking of installing some mudflaps, I live in MN so help to keep the rust factor at bay and also I think that mudflaps give the allusion of a car being lowered, and I cannot afford a new suspension package right now.

Anyways what do you all think? And where can I find them? I'm looking for the formed/hard mudflaps and haven't been having any luck.

Thanks guys glad to be on the board.

I live in MN but I drive a Ford Escort with Winter Tires on it. No point in driving a nice car, RWD, in the winter in this crappy state.

Welcome another mn member to CL

if your gonna use the mudflaps for the winter then just go and get some cheap ones at autozone put on for the winter then take of during the spring time. I don't think they make oem ones for our cars. never seen one with it.

Thanks for the welcome, nice car man!

Good idea, may actually do that, I want it to last as long as it can without rotting out.

McKrevice, ye I'm not too pleased to be driving it in winter either, but as a 19yr old college student, I don't have funds to have a winter and summer car haha

Pardesi thanks so much for the pics. Hey not to sound like an *** or anything cause I really appreciate you getting these on here but do you have any pictures from the side of your car? Like directly the side of it so I could see the mudflaps a tad better? If not dude thats totally cool, and thanks again for posting those pics up!
