I was offered $50,900 for a GS430 with Nav/Levinson, 17" wheels and spoiler.

I would just like to see if I could go lower.

BTW, nice ride!
I think I paid almost exactly what you were offered plus another 350 in lux tax and fees, for a 02 GS430 loaded with every option. Took like 9 weeks to come in though It was worth it.

Hohlraum, did you have to pay a Lexus Dealer Advertising fee? One particular dealer said that "everyone pays it"....which I think is BS.

No they didn't. Some places do try to pull that though. Just talk total price. Don't let them "fee" you to death.

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!! Thought about upgrading to the GS4, but it is missing the steering wheel shifting, which I like. Even still the GS says class!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the ride, I'm envious.

I'm working on getting mine...a Blue Onyx Pearl 2002 GS430 with Nav/Levinson, 17" wheels and rear spoiler. All dealers tell me that 430's are rare (let alone a Blue one) and the one I'm looking for has to be "ordered". In other words they have to look for it. They say it may take up to a couple of months. I think it's worth it...."out the door price", $53,100.

Manaray
GS430lvr
Kaju (Roger)...I'm almost sure his car is a 430
Veilside430

Another GS430 owner here, but all the way on the other side of the country. I wish I were in CALI!

Wow, so we actually got a lot. I totally forgot about Manarays GS and Icemans.

n228- the GS430 is rare. And yes, the onyx blue and the cinnabar? red is also one of the most rare colors. Im pretty sure all GS430s come with 17s, spoiler, NAV/ML. I dont know though if the chrome rims are stock.

Does anybody still have their "Options" list?

I can only speak for how things were as of a couple of months ago. The color choices and options depend on where in the country you live. Lexus splits the U.S. into west, central, and east regions.

Here out west, the GS430 is only available in black, white, silver, or gold. There are no options--EVERYTHING is mandatory. That includes ML/nav, wheel locks, rear spoiler, trunk mat, cargo net, and 17" chrome wheels with all-season tires.

When I called Lexus, they told me that a tiny percentage of 430's headed to other regions are available in black cherry, but that blue onyx and cinnabar are no longer offered.

Wow! That really sucks! I fell in love with Blue Onyx when I saw it. Oh well, at least they (the dealers) can give it a shot at looking for it. The black cherry is also nice...but not as nice as the Blue. Thanks for the input, Iceman!

I'm sure the dealers will do to you what they tried to do to me--convince you that a GS300 is the way to go or push used GS4's. When push came to shove, getting a new GS4 was more important to me than the color (although it was a close call there for awhile!).
