I am a first time Lexus owner - just bought a used 2003 Lexus GS300 which I absolutely LOVE!

One problem - the NAV DVD didn't come with it... I am having a really hard time figuring out what navigation dvd to use and where to get it from. I have read that using upgraded DVDs can mess up the whole navigation?

I discovered the navigation dvd player in the trunk (I think - under the mat right?) - can this also play regular DVD movies?

Help me please experts

its almost not worth bothering with since from my understandings is that they stopped making update disks for the 2gs back in like 04 or something.

 

fail sir....your info is DEF wrong.

for the 1998-2000 they stopped making updates in 2004

BUT for the 2001+ as the OP and myself have, they make a new update EVERY year for us.

odd someone took the disc out. hen you start the car does it say insert disc? i MAY have a disc for you OP....let me check when i get to house. if i have it, pay me shipping for it and its yours free. welcome to the club btw
