Default Oil Control Valve

I got the P1349 code. I check one on the driver side and it seemed fine no sludge. I called the dealer and they said the 99 gs3 has two oil control valves. I found the one on the driver side but where is the one on the passenger side.

It only has one. GS400/430 has 2.

JeffTsai, could you pl point me to the right location for the oil control valves for 2gs4? I want to inspect mine and possible to replace it for a peace of mind. I tried to look and search the forum, but had no luck of finding any snapshot of the units. I appreciate alots for your help.

Are you having problems with it right now? If not, I would just leave it be until it fails. It's not something common to go out if you keep up with maintenance. What kills them is if you don't change your oil at recommended intervals, the oil will sludge up the valve and jam it. If stick to normal maintenance schedules then you shouldn't have to change it for a VERY long time. I know some that have gone 300k miles on the original OCV and still going.
