Default Intro/Car won't start :(

I got my car about 2 weeks ago haven't even got a chance to take pictures for an intro either... and this happens...

Well I try to start my car this morning and it cranks over but won't start, had to take another car because I was late

So I come home and here is what the problem is...

When the key is in the on position, check egine light, oil, battery, and other lights are on

When I crank it the engine would make a grinding noise...

Help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!

And I have a 2004 gs300 silver 87k miles
Bought it for 11k
Had a kouki s14 before...

Could it be the timing belt?
Starter motor?

Post a sound clip. Doesn't sound like a timing belt at all to me. Do you know if the crank is spinning at all when you try to start? Loud grinding sounds like a starter issue where it can't engage the flex plate.

I had a similar problem with an LS400 I owned, it ended up being the fuel pump relay. It went bad, so I bridged it until I got a replacement relay. I'm not saying this is your problem, but just in case it is, this is how I took care of my problem. Hope you get your car up and running soon!
