too bad the Y-pipe isn't a 1 piece....dont really care for chopping it up to 3-pieces for shipping purposes.

Default Questions?

Would anyone have a breakdown of cost for this set up excluding the exhaust? Would this set up be useful, with a 2jz gte motor swap in the future plans? Any link would help also? Thanks in advance!

Y-pipe and rear mufflers will work with a gte swap. Anything in front of the y-pipe all the way to the engine will be turbo specific.

Wow, I do not see any restriction on the stock set-up. Looks good!

Yes it does, but it is in a slightly different position than the stock pipe which makes it point out and down just a little. My car is so low it is gonna get caught on something for sure.

So for a quick temp fix I ordered a 90 degree 02 sensor adapter/defouler to try, so it can angle up higher under the car.. Will post pics once I receive it.

(this example pic is from a civic, sorry.. it's just to show how a defouler mounts)

To the few posters asking where and how much for the megan b-pipe. They are usually on Ebay with buy-it-now's around $120.

Cheap enough, so I figured I'd try it.

Keep in mind, you will have to remove that center muffler support/brace piece. It's the one that goes under the y-pipe. It doesn't actually touch the piping, it's just there so incase you forgot to bolt up the piping all the way tight and they manage to work loose, the brace is there to prevent you from dragging the mufflers on the highway. I spec'd a 3" inlet in that area whereas the stock one is around 2.5" or so. Either remove that brace or if you really want to keep it....put a few washers in-between the brace and use a longer bolt. This way you space the brace about 1/4 away from the y-pipe and it will clear. I don't think this was mentioned anywhere on their description.
I didn't have any issues with the brace? I can slide a finger between the pipe and the brace, there is roughly 1/2" or so of clearance..

I'll recheck it after some a couple hundred miles as I'm sure the pipes will shift/settle some more being suspended by rubber.

You say the 3" inlet on the megan? You mean the outlet right? The outlet is only 2.25" ID, I expected a 3" but it isn't. The pipe extends out past the flange and the larger 2.75" ID Y-pipe receives it instead of butting up to it.
