Dust Problem
Hi Guys, I have a 98 GS 400 with a WIN lip spoiler.. I'm having a problem with dust collecting in the back of the car from the golf ball effect that's happening. Basically I washed / waxed my car yesterday (yes black car). I took it around the block so i can get any excess water out of the crevices to dry, but as soon as i got out of the car, the back of the car was covered with dirt or pollen. Wondering if anyone else has this problem with a wingless GS or other wings out there? My theory is that since its a flat lip spoiler, I'm getting that dust build up OR because I live in Sacramento, CA which is maybe pollution? any ideas to stop my mind from overthinking the situation.
Oh BTW, I use a California duster each night before I turn in for the day and quick detail the car when needed.

The wing sounds defective.. sell it to me for cheap. LOL
I have a wingless trunk and have never experienced this after a wash or wash/wax. Sounds like you just have very dry dusty roads. I will keep an eye on this though in the spring when the pollen and dust starts to accumulate.

I have the same exact problem with my GS430 with OEM wing, I narrowed the problem down to living near a rock mine. The wax on the car for some reason acts like static and just grabs the dust/dirt. I tried several different waxes and end up with the same problem. It's the pain of owning a black car...
