Well i took of my airbag the other day to see whats going on with my horn not working, and I have 2 wires cut and go no where. None of my steeri ng wheel functions work by the way. I was wondering if one of you might be kind enough to take a picture of the wiring behind the air bag on your gs. Thanks

I wouldn't mess with wires in back of the airbag.... I would have some look at it, chances are you airbag doesn't work, and that's not safe.

not on the air bag side, sorry-the wires on the steering wheel side, air bag wires are fine, it the plug and harness that goes to horn,cruise, and stereo controls.

what I am wanting is for someone to take their air bag off and then just take a picture of steering wheel, a close up would be great-that way I can see the wiring

i should have this....i took my steering wheel off the other day plus we both have a 2001 gs430 so its the same vehicle

Sakataj-thanks for the pics, thats exactly what I was looking for, I might need one closer to the wires though. I kn ow you took these 2 weeks ago but if you could take one picture closer to the wires it would greatly appreciated. I will also let you know what color of wires that are cut so maybe you can just tell me what they go to.-Thanks once again

nah, i removed it for something i was working on, ripped the SRS plug off, re-soldered the plug, finished what i was working on and replaced steering wheel

although the leather is jacked up around where my hands go. its been like that since i got her
