I've gotten 2 speeding tickets the last 3yrs. And both of them I wasn't caught by radar/laser.... On one of them a State Trooper was in front of a truck in the middle lane and I flew right by him pushing like 100...... I didn't see him till I passed him.....

Yeah, here in Hawaii...I know that when I run my stocks the pickup is a lot quicker, I get to 100 a lot faster.

if your gonna put 20's on your car, you should buy a G3 and pimp that out, b/c obviously if your buying a G3 than you are not buying it for the performance, you are looking for something to pimp out

Overall... I feel like my GS is alot slower now... But I have a 300 so if you put them on a 400/430 you might not be that much slower..... That extra HP might make a world of difference....

Hey GQ....I've got dubz and a GS4. No matter what, I will never go back to 19's. 20's stand out especially Chrome Dubz. Yes its has slowed me down dramatically but having a GS4 still means I'm smoking 80% of all the cars on the road, which isn't bad. Half the time my car is stuffed with 5 guys, which means 800 extra pounds. If your concidering Dubz, you will change your driving habbits guaranteed. No speeding. No driving up curbs faster than 1 mph. No drive thru carwash.

P.S. You wont regret the dubz. JUST GET THEM ALREADY!!!

IF YOU ARE THINKING TWENTYS ... SOME ADVISE IS 65 IS THE TOP SPEED ON THE FREEWAY OF COURSE. YOU ROLL YOU DONT SPEED 20S ARE FOR ROLLERS NOT RACERS..... GET SMALLER IF YOU ARE CONCERNED WITH SPEED AND PERFORMANCE...BUT IF YOU WANT A TIGHT CLEAN LOOK AND CAN ROLL CAREFULLY GET THE 20s SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off...

Now back to 20's...you also have to consider that Enginyr has some SERIOUSLY heavy 20's...I have a GS430 with some relatively "light" 20's and like I said, not much of a loss...

Clivej, your right that was my post comparing the wider tire scenario. I researched this pretty well with a friend of mine. Here is the link to the original thread:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=37438

I was thinking 18 inch, but after comparing the facts I have went with the OEM 17's, with larger tire size 245/45.

here is another link explaining the differences between the 2 sizes

No matter the weight of the rim....The rotational diameter is what really hurts you.....Its all about gearing....Weight is a factor but the diameter is a killer.

And manaray.....My 20's weigh 5 pounds heavier than my stock 17's ....GET A CLUE
