Members have been removing resonators for many years now. Try doing a search using key words like "resonator" or "delete".

There's no drone on the V8, just a sweet low rumble. I gave a full review of what my resonator delete, x-pipe with RMM muffler sounded like. Do a search under my SN and using key words.

Any positive effects on fuel economy? In theory, it should help right?

I must say thank you to you guys for giving me an excuse to get after my Lexus after it had been sitting in the driveway for weeks because of the snow. The roads cleared up a bit, so I decided that I would take a few iPhone videos to give you an idea of what my cabin sounds like. I am running winter tires, factory exhaust minus the resonators, and factory intake minus the air box. Don't be too critical as these are from an iPhone, hope you enjoy.

Can't be any louder than greddy catback exhaust OMG I couldnt even talk on my phone cruising speeds. I still wish I hadn't sold them these ltuned mufflers are making me yearn for something more agressive.

I just deleted the giant *** factory mufflers on my 400. Straight piped it and called it a day... however, I would like a nice set of shiny mufflers out back...
