Take all the advice above. These guys know what they are talking about.
A very cheap INITIAL mod IMHO is a VERY nice detail job. There have been some new-comers who join and post up pics of their stock GS where they are greeted with a ton of nice comments because their ride was so clean (i.e. shiny and well maintained). This is a GREAT starting point in my opinion. No reason to put new items on yet if the car doesn't look fresh first. GL!

I have those daizen springs forsale..
If your on a budget--> Drop and tte lip or just drop. You have an 02, those tails are fine IMO. First thing should always be a Drop, im sure most everyone agrees

Anyways, Keep the car clean, the tires and rims shiny.. That gets the wow factor. When I just got my GS I kept it clean at ALL times ( I still do) and the car turned heads everywhere. I have seen new CLS/ S classes, GS dirty and believe me, to me, they dont stand out at all. Now when they are shiny, thats a whole different story
Saved up for mods. Don't spend your money on small things as most of the cheap things arent good and rice out the car.
Good Luck

check out DDM tuning they have HID kits for like $40 buck for the kit. its a simple plug and play. clear markers are cheap like $20. you can do mufflers pretty cheap also. but id look into a drop after the other stuff like the hid's and clear markers. Def check CL for sale section people sell good stuff at really great prices. Good luck

I know how tempting it can be to dump money into mods, especially for having a Lexus at 18. I had a Soarer twin turbo when I was 18 (and another 2 after, hopefully a GS by next week). Spend the the cash/time to make sure you maintain the car... much more important than trying to stand out from the crowd!
