Default Need help upgrading High Beam/DRL and City Lights - 01 GS300

I'm waiting for 4300k HIDs from Xenon Depot to come in the mail, expected any day now.

That said - I'd love to upgrade the High Beam (9005 bulb) especially find a way to get rid of the yellow colored DRL (which I understand is the high beam at low power).

2nd I'd like to upgrade the City light, which is just a small wedge bulb and gives off a lousy yellow color. I think I'd like both the DRL and City light to be bright white.

I do not want to do HIDs in the highs since I won't use them often with the HID lows, but instead I was hoping there might be some good bulbs or LEDs I could install to upgrade both of these. I might do the same for the fogs that I do for the Highs.

Any help is appreaciated!

Ok I found them at a few sites. The Piaa's claim to be DOT and street legal whereas the only Nokya's I can find are 7000k temp and say for show only.

Are the PIAA's for $70 bucks a good deal?

Also the Highs and DRL are the same unit. Will the PIAA 9005 bulbs burn WHITE during the day as the DRLs? My current bulb burns yellow. My city lights are just a wedge bulb. I guess I can go with LEDs for those.

you mean the DRL or the city light? I assume you are referring to the city light which is the small wedge (peanut bulb?). The DRL is the high beam bulb when my lights are turned off, it automatically runs at a lower voltage during the day.

Will the DRL still work if I use the PIAAS 9005 bulb and will they be 'white'?
