Should I switch my seats?

Should I switch my seats?
I have the opportunity to get a pair of black leather recaros out of an evo for a good price. I'm trying to get your opinions on whether its worth losing the heated/power features for lighter more supportive buckets. What do you guys think? Go for it?

I've been considering this mod for a while too (look for my past threads I made )...and seems like EVO SSL seats would be a nice fit. This may seem odd but Saturn Ion Redlines also came with Recaros as well, haven't butt checked it but they seem to be cheaper than SSL seats.
The only problem I'm still trying to figure out is how to swap the heated seats... I think you'll have to take apart, both the OEM and aftermarket seat, swap the heater and put it back together....which would be a PITA and I'm not even sure on the dimensions.
Also, since you're having brackets made anyways, I would align it so that the center of the seat is 20mm or so to the right than stock. If you haven't noticed, the center of the steering wheel isn't aligned to the center of the seat which is one thing I hate about the GS (same with the RHD too).
Keep us updated as to how this goes!

You can get a aftermarket seat heater and install them in the Recaro's. Assuming you can pull the covers off them and then get it back on again. These could easily be wired up to the factory switches too. I am going to be installing some in my Durango sometime soon.

I would keep the OEM seats if I were you. Being a former Evo owner I can tell you that those seats are uncomfortable for long distance driving. Now if you are into raod racing or other competetion driving, and you would be putting the seats to good use then I say go for them. If you want them more for looks then IMHO it's not worth the trade off.
