noob needs help: vsc and vsc off lights came on

don't expect us to do your research for you. A 2 second google search indicated that the code is for a problem with the throttle body. Either the actuator its self or acceleration positioning sensor is bad. Both are attached to the throttle body.

lol i kno that ..and i already did my research and i also kno it has to do something with the throttle body..thing is i dont wanna go out there and buy the tps sensor when actually the one that needs replacin is the app sensor u kno..thast y i m askin for yall input since i also know that its a common problem for gs300 and 400....btw thanx for the info bro

Well, I pulled and cleaned the OCV, and changed the oil today. Pulled the battery cable, waited, and reconnected. Idled like crap for awhile, dash lit up like Christmas... I'm very busy lately, so its parked for now; I'm taking it in to Lexus on the 15th for a CE light scan to pinpoint the problem. Then I'll fix whatever the F is wrong with it.

well i got p1121 from the scanner so i m guessin its the app sensor...lets us know whats causin urs to act up bro..thanx 4 ur input and update

just my 2cent...but if anyone has ever messed with ur sensors on the wheels that deal with traction control then that culd b the problem. VSC is for Vehicle Stability Control and if thats off sometimes ur traction control wont work properly. when i changed my springs to lowering springs i damaged my sensors n my VSC, ABS, and VSC off lights came on. i nvr had any adverse changes in performance so i didnt bother with it. n my traction control still works. hope this helps

^^well the vsc and vsc off lights are gone but now i have the app sensor coming up ..also i just ordered some lowering springs and is makin me think twice bout lowering since ur tellin me this lol..
