my trunk was locked when I broke into to my car to pull the trunk release. However I am guessing with the valet key when you unlock to the door it will disarm the alarm?

You may very well be right. I don't use the valet key, but I assumed it unlocked the door without setting off the alarm since it should have a chip in it, but I suppose that's just too smart.

Fro, you're better off getting an additional master cut/programmed in this instance. That or possibly teach a certain someone what pockets are designed for.

I locked my keys in the truck once. I just went down to the dealership and they cut one of those flat, credit card sized emergency keys for $10 based on my VIN. I was able to unlock the door and pull the trunk release without any issues.

good luck!
