$199.
White looks best because the needle plastic is tinted orange. However, we can do any color. Blue, pink, purple (UV), green, red, orange, warm white, cool white, pure white

reflection surface (aluminum foil)
The gauge cluster on my car is not very bright. I just replaced the battery thinking a new one would help but it did nothing. I do notice at times it's brighter than others and I can't figure out why. For the most part it's pretty dull compared to what I think it's supposed to look like.
Is there any easy way to replace the bulbs or is this a several hour project?

taping the reflection surface (aluminum foil) around the CCFL backlight. the light is more clear and strong. you may try.

I have attempted to look this up and the only thing I have found after hours of searching is this guy... hac327@gmail.com. I don't know his prices, but he does do an led color changing conversion that can be changed into different colors in seconds. Lexus GS300 GS400 GS430 LED instrument cluster DEMO - YouTube
So i took it upon myself to create something that suited everyones color of choice + the system has some really cool fades and patterns too....
And to that "lexus tech" seriously bro you opened the door up to get hated on when you started typing...i have sets of CCTs sitting in my garage basicly worthless in my eyes....lexus should have went with somekind of led system but honestly at the time CCT is diffrent enough to set them apart. Plus you cant argue that the CCT system provides smooth even light....cutting edge at the time.
Anywho....i still do this modication...i wont disclose prices so that clublexus dosnt get mad. But there is my email address....i am 95% mobile all the time so email responce is qwick.
If your interested HMU and we will go from there.
Thanks guys....
Oh and i can even link the system into the back light on the HVAC LCD screen....so it matches the cluster....
Peace.

How to get the brightest white display at night time is as follows:
Park your car under the bright sun light during the day. I believe this charges somewhat battery for this CCFL. If you parked underground parking or darker area for a few hours, you will need to drive around for more than 30 minutes at least to get the charging (probably dynamo)
Turn on Head lamp lights (not to automatic sensor mode)
Point a flash light directly to the sensor. Within 2 seconds it will change to brighter mode and you will experience the brightest white.
You can even try this in the evenings or cloudy days.
I am thinking to put a permanent LED wired lights right in front of that sensor so that its bright 24/7.
It would be good if there’s a better way to fool the sensor such as playing with the wires.
