i used vice grips and carefully adjust it to fit then voila wedge bulb removal...

Wow didn't expect to come back and see so many replies. Maybe it's just me but I'm about 6'4" and my hands are XL. I just can't get a good enough grip on a few of them especially the back seat bulbs. Good idea about the girlfriend. Maybe I'll ask my hot little wifey if I can get her princess a$$ to come out in the cold to help. Won't likey happen soon enough though.

that's actually a fairly good idea.....never thought bout it before. but maybe something less aggressive than duct tape in case u stick it someplace it shouldn't go u wont have the sticky adhesive duct tape sometimes leaves behind

everytime I changed my wedge bulbs...esp the driver-side...i cut up my fingers and knuckles and it bleeds. no pain...no gain.

the other option...remove front bumper...then remove headlight unit.
