Boostwerx in the Making
Well, it's been quite a while since I've posted any pics of my car. Like many, my GS300 started life out as a daily driver with the basic bolt-ons. But since spring of last year, an opportunity came up where a used LMS Sc'd kit was for sale and I thought what better way than adding a little more bump to my ride. So with the help of my friend Jeremy, we tore apart the motor and changed up a few things to prepare it for it's boosted life. After mounting everything up, I felt that the LMW kit didn't meet my needs, I decided to change up a few things so I went ahead and scrap everything off the kit minus the bracket and supercharger and custom made everything. Well, enough with the rambling and onto the pictures.
It all started with tearing the Motor down in preparation for boost.
Switching out the injectors and cleaning up the cylinder head and various other stuff.

Next came mounting up the LMS bracket and Powerdyne BD11-a supercharger
After closer inspection, the supplied intercooler just didn't cut it.
Well what do you do in this case? Get something a "little bigger".
This new intercooler was just a "little bit bigger" than the old one which required cutting into the factory front crash bar. But people who know me well know that I don't like half *** hack job so I thought what better way than to custom make a new crash bar....

While fabbing up the front crash bar, I wanted some extra protection in the event of a catastrophic accident. So I decided what better way than to make a front skid plate which integrates a central jack point in the front of the car for easier work in the future. So I created a template and fabricate up this neat little bracket which I'll weld into the front tow hooks.
Well, that's all for now. Stay tune as new intercooler piping needs to be made.
***Also since I had to purchase materials in large amounts to build the skid plates and cross bar, I'm willing to help members out by making these for those who wish to own a set. All I ask is for you to help me out by paying for the cost of materials and supplies.****
