Default JDM bodykit

Looking for opinions on the look and quality of this kit. Kind of unsure about the side skirts, really like the L-tuned better. Maybe its better to go with the L-tuned kit with grill and an TTE front lip? Would be about the same money from Carson.

I saw the JDM kit face on and for some reason, the paint didnt' really match stock colors. maybe the car's paint was fading and the new JDM skirts had newer paint and didn't blend well. Anyway, consider that.

Ltuned and JDM the JDM looks more like a kit cuz the Ltuned skirts are a bit subtle but IMO, the ltuned would look cleaner with the TTE if you considered it.

I have the TTE and have considered the ltuned - i just have hard time with the cost of the skirts which come painted when I can go get Lsportline for about the same price repaint that and come out better looking (IMO).

I just put on my JDM body kit on a black GS4 and I really like it. I've seen the L-tuned kit and although it's better than stock it's pricey and it's more subtle than I wanted. The JDM kit sells for about 1700 shipping included at http://shop.store.yahoo.com/lexusparts/index.html. Also the kit comes prepainted for white, silver, and white. Getting parts painted is not cheap either. Also the front in curved inward a little to help avoid hitting the ground. A good place to check out the kit is possibly lexus UK where they sell the GS Sport editions. However if you plan on installing the kit yourself, I'd go with the L-tuned. As you may know the JDM kit is just lip spoilers to the front and back with new sideskirts. putting on such a kit is a little harder when you have to remove the OEM put on the new part to it(the hardest part) and then put all of it back. Also be sure to look at the L-sportline and Rod Millen Kits. They are both polyurethane like stock..so they are more durable. Hope this helped.
