very nice work, i wish i was better at paint and body work i can handle mechanical or electrical but when it gets to paint or metal fab i suck!

I want this exact thing done to my trunk, centers deleted and spoiler holes filled! Wish I could do this myself. If I had more *****, I'd probably give 'er a try on my own...

I see a different color filler! If I can make a suggestion on the primering... if you backtape the area, its easier to sand without that hard primer line. I like how you get that metal real tight before welding, some people don't do that and have all kinds of dips and wave issues.

Final stage of plastic or filler. I'm using a finishing putty or glaze product. Fills any minor imperfections, correct me if I'm wrong, and sands to a perfect feathered edge very easily.

And primer. A high build white primer. It actually matches pretty good! Now I save for paint.......

Yep, that's what finishing putty/glaze is for. You're already painting, but for those who are working on it, remember to use as little as possible, sanding after, and doing a progressive finish (1500 grit, 2k grit).

Oh, and why blur the plate now? Hehehehe

Good job thus far. You have mastered the smooth welding. Mad skillz, yo.

you might have some swellage later on down the road,spray can primer not as durable as the two part mix high build urethane primer...

you use evercoat metal glaze didnt you good stuff
