Default So my wife parked the car to go to a doctor, and came out to find this

I would love to find whoever did that, and I pull his her teeth out with a pair of pliers.

What are my options here for the most inexpensive fix?

Two options

1) find one from same color car from a salvage yard. Try Aliga or RJ Distrib in our classifieds or http://www.car-part.com/ Looks like from pics that your GS is silver so be very specific on the year and color code (millenium vs alpine)

2) time to upgrade to some new mirrors, although some of them don't have the full mirror and are caps which may or may not cover the damage.

If you happen to get a mirror cover but need a mirror, go to an all glass place they can cut you one. It happened to me once, they charged me like $30 and it lasted me for 9 years until I sold the ES

I'd be really pissed of that happened to me. Not sure what your deductible is, but if it is $250, I'd file a claim.

No, my wife taped it. She said the glass was hanging on wires.

wow...that must have been a big impact to puncture the housing.

Your wife did a good job...props to her.

the other option is to upgrade to LED blinker covers...and get the glass replaced....consider the jdm "blue" glass.

good luck.

Anyone have part number for the glass? Its raining now, but I think the mechanism inside the housing may be fine.

Thanks, I have been looking for this link for a few months. Carpart.com is definitely the place to start. I got a fender here a couple of years ago...

Man Och,

Sucks i hate that. Have you checked your insurance?

I think you can by them fully assembled and color matched. Happened to me with my old CL. I bought just the glass and the shell.
