Thanks everyone for the compliments. I'm lucky to have found such a low mileage clean machine. No longer a low mileage GS, just turned 90k and so I decided to renew the fun a bit w/ new stance, shocks, and wheels and tires for a fresh factory look. The ride is great, very happy with it. Here's how it turned on Eibach's and the OE chrome GS430 wheels.

Very nice GS you've got there

What's the ride like on the Eibachs? Has the suspension settled some since install?

Thanks. Glad you like it. The ride on the Eibach's is great, no complaints. My last GS, a '99, I installed LTuned on it; for some reason I recall the ride on that set up was not as good (really felt like a lowered car, that is)? That was why I waited so long to put these on the GS430, loss of ride quality. But I have to say I am pleasantly surprised, the Eibach's are very nice with regards to ride quality.

Settling? not that I can see, I wish i would have put a tape measure to it! The springs were in about 10 days before I got the alignment at Davenport Motors. The last few pics were about a week of driving. Hopefully all the settling is done so my alignment remains accurate.

Looks clean.

Do you happen to have your stock 5 spoke 17s still?

Yes I do. Thanks for the reminder. Need to clean out the attic, they have been up there for years.

The set I have w/ tires are OE Chrome 17x8 GS400 five spokes, from my '99 GS - overall good shape. What's a set like that sell for? I will post em up in the classified after I take a few pics. Or PM me if you want them. Where are you located? DFW area here.

Props to you for going with decent well known springs and replacing the shocks and ball joints at the same time too. I had my Tanable NF210's and new OEM Lexus shocks ( KYB ) sitting in boxes too for a couple of months before I installed them. I ended up storing the GS for the winter months. I originally bought the GS for a nice daily driver with heated seats and safety for my newborn daughter, but yet I end up storing it for the winter.....LOL.

I too drove around a little bit to let my springs settle before I got an alignment done. The Tanable NF210's arent too crazy of a drop, but it was still enough to throw off my camber and TOE. I couldnt imagine those who SLAM their rides, without an alignment. TOE OUT tends to occur to most cars when they are dropped, which wears the crap out of the insides of the tires. The money they spent burning through tires and gasoline ( because the car has increased rolling resistance due to poor alignment ) could have been used for an alignment....lol

I have EIBACH Pro-Kits with Tokico shocks on my Prelude and it rides a bit stiffer than the Tanabes in my GS. Then again, it could be the difference in the nature of the cars too. People who have rode in my Lex who arent into cars and lowering dont even know I lowered it due to the great ride that the NF210's offer.
