well its official, i got the tte lip and am now in the process of finding a suitable shop to do the molding. it will look similar to the one above. i could not see spending that kind of money for a fiberglass kit.
Cool and good luck with getting the lip molded. A fiberglass lip up front was not the way to go.
That's ride height in NYC, if I can survive here with it at this height, there's not too many places with worse roads, just change your driving style is pretty much the only thing you can do.
Just wondering, why didn't you fill in the line (under the tte badge) completely?
Now all you need is a new cellphone, and you're in the game!
Air Ride seems like another alternative.
haha, it's a very old pic.....
And you're right regarding bags, but I like to drive my car aggressively at times as well as putting the GS on the highway from NYC to NC so reliability is a factor for me.

I try to make all of my mods as subtle as possible. While it may be taking away from the TTE lip, I didn't want the lip to look like an add on piece but more like it came stock from the factory. I do like the molded line look as well, but everyone has a TTE lip now so having something different is a plus.

It was just too plain and flat in the front when I saw it completely clean in a previous pic. Figured the line would flow with the slats and the chrome stipe better for my taste.
