AWD, My response was to replepies to OE 16's and OE 17's just like it says. If you don't think that there is a difference in handling between the 2 OE sizes you got some research to do. Post with some repect btw. You being irritated is disrespectful.
AGIAN. be clear. the OP is talking about wheel diameter. i already called you out on being unclear yet you keep on repeating your unclear advice. its probably because you really dont know what you are saying or you just go caught posting something dumb. me doing research? please. if the 16" inch wheel had the same size width tires as the 17's. i wouldnt be surprised if the 16" inch setup out handles and out powers the 17's since its lighter. NOW if you are talking about the 17's having slightly wider tire, THAT YOU FAILED TO SPECIFY. then maybe, but its still not significant enough to CLAIM to gain HANDLING. theres a buttload of cars out there running 16's VS 17's setups on the same car owning them in autox and track events. its common sense.
oh and yeah.. thanks for that cute PM you sent me.
i left it alone then this dude decided to pm me all butthurt. its simple. if you dont want to be questioned. post something that would benefit the topic or something you actually know.

True, true. But if they say something that you believe is incorrect,
kindly correct them. If they wanna argue, don't respond. Simple as that.
I have the OEM 7 spoke chrome and am wrangling with the dealer now as I am on my second set with chrome bubbling. Take care of them, no excess brake dust, etc. Got the 03 GS430 certified and noticed the bubbling - dealer replaced no questions. Now less than three years later (warranty period) the second set is bubbling again worse than the first set. Dealer now only offers 50%. Word to the wise. Spent a couple hours searching the net and found contention that Lexus both outsources these wheels and uses a chrome sheet process - who knows. I know I have two sets that bubbled.
I'm looking for some other OEM 17 wheel that is less money - the chrome are about $700 each - wondering if there are some alloys or something that I could get them to give me at cost (ha).
