very interested in the information as well.. How did you get the audio into the system? I'm going to guess RF since you've got the radio tuned to a specific station. I'm _really_ curious how you got the overlay to work. I'm going to guess you are overriding the navigation display? I'm sure you'll answer all these questions soon enough.

just when I'm about to quit modding my GS..... YOU!
Thanks a bunch!!
Can't wait to see the writeup! From the materials used, it's not an expensive mod.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Do you know if it'll work with 98~00 HD based NAV with the smaller screens?
And how did you integrate the viewing area with the stock unit? Looks like a factory option! Too many mysteries!

vlad..great job man.
How did you by pass the Nav ECU and all another B.S that Lexus put in their system. I want to do that on my too. I've checked the nav-tv.com and they need me to bring the car up to N.Y.
Thanks

Can't wait for pictures. I wonder if its possible (or if you already did it this way) to make a by-pass cable that plugs directly into the Nav unit so it doesn't require any modifications to the OEM cable that runs between the headunit and the navunit. This would be ideal as it wouldn't void the factory warranty. Unless of course there is no connector on the nav side of the cable and its hardwired in by factory default.
