You can order just the connectors from Lexus. Do you want the connector at the Nav. ECU and the connector behind the Multi-Display. There's another spice point( connector) under the right side of the shifter called connector IM2 ( from Lexus EWD ) and the RGB+Syns from the Nav. ECU go in to that connector before it go behind the Multi-Display. I don't know this will help or not. But you can PM me. I'll find the Part Number for those connectors.
Thanks

I like the idea with IM2. It will work. What do you think about power connection in that area - (Acc, B1+ and GND).

P.S.
Do you have a service manual?

Lightbulb Help to indentify w-t-w connector pairs

enginyr,

I can help you to figure out the mating wire-to-wire connectors, which match original TOYOTA/DENSO connectors (M8, M3) on Multi-Display unit.

Just send me the "drawing" of those connectors.
my e-mail at jyhhaur@netzero.net
I can indentify them and trace the source for you !

Regards,

I'm not sure. I have to look because there's another connector IP1 beside it, from the Nav. ECU and both of them going behind the Milti-Display. Today I just looked for the RGB and Syns. But I'm sure there will be B+,E ( grond in Lexus ), and Acc. because the Cig. lighter, Power Outlet are in that area. I'll look into this tomorrow. I'll make the copy of EWD and the connectors. I've just installed Window XP and now my Scanner doesn't work. You can PM me your fax number.
Great Idea

May be IP1 will work even better, depending on it location. Cig. lighter not very good idea as far as power:
1) We need all the time +12V for non-volatile memory
2) Power consumption of GEX-P7000TV close to 2A

Regarding fax, I have it at work, but I think it not very good idea.

What kind of scanner do you have, may be I can help you.

I asked about service manual, because it looks like you have it. Were did you get it? How much it cost. Can I buy just electrical part?

Hi..Vlad the location of the IP1 is by the right hand side of the shifter also. You're right about the Cig. lighter. I don't know how much currents the Pioneer consumes. My scanner is Visioneer One Touch 8100 and I've check with them, there's no driver update yet for the XP( on their www.). I'll get it to work asap or I may have to get a new one that work with the XP.
Hey you can check you PM
Thanks

Ok everyone, I dont know anything about wiring or taking anything apart, I dont wanna mess anything up and this looks like it is very complicated if u dont know too much about it, But I really would like to have this kind of setup, anyone have any Ideas on how I could do this... maybe myself or maybe have drawings that a Guy who does electronic work could read? Thanks
