No updates yet, sorry. Been a busy week.

I'm not very pleased with the painted reflector housing right now and may try to source a replacement before I finish up.

audax, here's a thread from HIDplanet on aiming if you haven't seen it already and are still looking for info. on that part of the process. http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17073

I don't remember if you have to register to view it, but that's the thread I used as reference when I did mine.

Awesome, thanks! Registration is required but I'll deal with the inconvenience for good info.

so why the q45 projectors? wouldnt the output be scattered with so many lenses?

im sorry, im noobish to lex retros but i know we honda guys use the tsx or s2k projectors(s2k preferred due to crisp, wide output.)

i was looking into mocking up some s2k ones in the gs when i get one...and was curious if something is known that i dont know!

looks good though, nice to see you taking your time and doing it right

Ditto on the TSX and S2000 projectors, Q45 retro is for badazz looks and rarity.

The Q45's are done for looks, the output doesn't measure up to many of the other projectors; however it's still better than the stock HID reflectors in the GS and is good enough for me personally.

If you're looking for output, the size of the GS headlights allows you to put in LS430 projectors which last time I knew were the kings of output but not many cars can fit them. The cutoff is on par with the s2k's but they're wider. Do some research on the LS430's before you decide what to use in your GS.

awesome, thanks for the info.

i had seen a few of them retro'd and i figured there had to be some reason why they were the "hot" projector.

keep up the good work and i cant wait to see the finished results!

If your not happy with the "Painted Reflector" look into ALSA Corp Chrome paint, I've seen this in person and you can't tell that its a spray Paint.

You can get more info HERE
